Individuals and families taking part in this campaign have to welcome to their home a guest, from a religion, caste, class, region, language, or gender different from theirs. Many celebrities, including musician T. M. Krishna, poet Sachidanandan, and actor Nandita Das have already posted videos on social media expressing their solidarity with and participation in the campaign.
