This Election Is Turning From 'No Contest' To A Stiff Battle

As the marathon Lok Sabha election moves into final stages after the completion of polls in more than half of the total number of seats, three senior journalists from different parts of India analyse the state of play on the ground in different regions of the country. These seasoned political observers- Sheetal P Singh, Rashmi Koti and Kunal Shankar- are of the unanimous view that the election, which was perceived initially as a ‘No Contest’ loaded heavily in favour of the BJP is steadily turning into a stiff battle marked by significant gains for the INDIA alliance.
