Parliament Attack, Suspension of MPs And the Surveillance Raj

The Indian Parliament is passing through one of the worst periods in its history with the suspension of as many as 141 MPs in a matter of just two days. The serial suspensions were triggered by the vociferous demands from the MPs for an explanation from the Prime Minister and Home Minister on the security lapses that led to the December 13 attack on parliament by a group of young people. Political Analyst, Economist and Social Activist Paranjoy Guha Thakurtha analyses the current context and points out that all this is linked to the Surveillance Raj being built up by the Modi Regime.
