Agricultural Education Pioneer of UK Initiates Collaboration Project for UP’s Marginalised Student Community

In a pathbreaking initiative in terms of  international collaboration in the field of higher education, The Royal Agricultural University (RAU), the 180 year old prestigious, pioneering educational institution of the United Kingdom (UK), and India’s Himalaya’s Valley Educational and Charitable Trust have come together to launch an agricultural education programme for students from marginalised sections of society. A formal memorandum of understanding (MOU) to jointly advance the programme was signed at function in Lucknow.

 

Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and present Member of Parliament Akhilesh Yadav is the patron of the programme and chaired the formalisation of the international educational collaboration.
